One of the most emotional times I’ve ever had on the air. Very rarely do we air a call this long, but it really hits home for so many people as we remember 24 years since 9/11… and with everything else going on lately, I thought this was a raw, relatable and inspiring moment that would at LEAST reassure radio people that what you do, matters. There’s no telling of who’s really listening or what your impact on their life is, but I’m absolutely saddened and also grateful that I played a role in someone’s life, despite them no longer being alive to know it. So in memory of Matt from Swanville MN, thank YOU for being who you are, and I grieve for your family that misses you deeply.
